Stephanie brings 35 years of hands-on experience helping people and organizations to achieve their goals. Her rich and diverse background – as a senior human resources executive, career coach, social worker, health educator, wellness coach, trainer and ESL teacher – enables her to connect with clients in a unique and meaningful way. She consistently receives accolades for helping people and organizations to clarify their vision, set strategic goals, develop confidence and create new paradigms.
As a seasoned coach and behavior change expert, Stephanie helps clients leverage their strengths, improve communication skills, shift perspectives, achieve goals and develop strategies for success. She is experienced in Employee Relations, has coached all levels of employees from entry level to C-suite, is an expert in Educational Design and has led hundreds of workshops. Her clients are from all sectors of the corporate world, non-profit organizations and academic institutions.
Stephanie’s education and interest in health and behavior change led her to the field of health communications. For nearly a decade, she ran Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield’s flagship Health Education Center in NYC. She spearheaded cutting edge community health education programming in partnership with leading health experts and brought art, theater, storytelling and interactive exhibits into the educational mix. Stephanie transitioned to the agency side of the healthcare marketing industry with a leadership role in patient-centered education programs. She led the development of educational materials for top pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, GSK, BMS and Merck to name a few and was an early advocate for the health literacy movement. During her tenure at the agency, Stephanie was responsible for HR strategic planning, recruitment & talent management, training and leadership development and was the Executive Coach for the senior leadership team.
Through her affiliation with Penn State’s Women’s Leadership Initiative, Stephanie provides career coaching services to help young women determine their career path, learn leadership skills and network with seasoned professionals.
Stephanie is currently an active volunteer for Literacy Volunteers of America. She has served as a board member of the Northern NJ Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and has volunteered for many health organizations including the American Heart Association, the American Lung Association and CancerCare.
Stephanie hold a Masters in Social Work from Rutgers University, a Masters in Nutrition from Penn State and a BS in Biology from Brooklyn College/CUNY. She is certified to Teach English As A Second Language and is a graduate of CoachU’s Core Essential Program.
