Maria Gallego is an I/O practitioner and Ph.D. candidate based out of the BeamPines home office in New York City. She has experience in all facets of Human Capital and Talent Management and worked across a variety of organizations and industries including pharmaceuticals, CPG manufacturing, supply chain operations, healthcare, technology, finance, corporate barter and academia.
Her objective is to leverage her experience, skills and knowledge to improve individual effectiveness and create customized solutions to organizational issues. Maria utilizes her extensive background in psychology as part of the in-house Assessment Team. Her coaching ranges from leadership development to career transitioning. She interviews, administers, interprets and writes assessments and development plans on leaders at all levels.
Maria creates targeted talent management and training solutions for clients. Maria designs and implements surveys on topics such as customer satisfaction, employee engagement and coaching evaluations (in multiple languages) as well as designs and develops workshops on facilitation skills, team collaboration, and leadership. Maria has also conducted extensive research in women’s leadership and developed content for women’s leadership programs. She actively evaluates, forms and conducts research in a wide variety of organizations and industries to produce customizable solutions for our clientele.
Maria has personally developed and delivered instructional design topics on stress management for business leaders as well as how to employ cognitive behavioral therapy in an executive coaching environment. She has developed content for leadership, management, talent, career transitioning, training and women’s leadership programs.
A PhD candidate in Applied Organizational Psychology at Hofstra University, Maria earned her Master’s degree in Psychology from New York University with the Masters Scholar honor and holds a BA in Psychology from the University of South Alabama with Cum Laude, Psychology and Business honors. She is a member of the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Metropolitan New York Association of Applied Psychology, and the American Psychological Association.
