Alexandra V. Shaffer

Bringing a fresh perspective in understanding clients’ needs in order to develop innovative solutions is Alexandra’s calling. In her current role she helps the Firm stay competitive in an ever-changing global economy while holding true to BeamPines values and quality standards. She partners with colleagues to identify growth opportunities, defines goals for development, and manages the execution of short and long-term plans to achieve business objectives through the use of technology and global strategic alliance relationships. She has focused on how learning can be enhanced through the combination of human interaction, technology and media. Through these avenues, she is able to customize programs and implementation strategies for new program initiatives and client projects of all scopes.

In 2009, she designed and launched CTC Online™, a high touch career transition counseling program for transitioning executives, which combines the use of e-learning, multimedia and creative communications. She serves as the program’s director and is responsible for training her colleagues and others in its applications and benefits. She designs, delivers and manages high volume career transition programs for clients, interacts closely with candidates and serves as BeamPines’ corporate representative for CTC Online™ and major client presentations.

Most recently, she has designed and launched eTeach® with G2 Collective Inc., which is used by BeamPines and the firm’s global associates for all online and hybrid program delivery. eTeach® is a cloud based knowledge transfer platform, which enables organizations to design and deliver courses and training material in multiple languages, easily manage content and interactivity, and track the progress of the participants within the organization.

Alexandra joined BeamPines in 2006. During her previous years with the firm, she has served as Leadership Program Coordinator, Manager of Product Development & Strategic Planning and Director of Business Strategy and Counseling Services. Prior to joining BeamPines, she managed public relations and marketing efforts, and produced large-scale multimedia events for fashion, music and entertainment industry clients.

Alexandra has earned a BBA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College.  A New York City native, she spends her spare time enjoying the city’s many cultural offerings and working with family and friends to support charitable organizations and events that give back to the community. She currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
